Why was this project built?
Built as an enterprise collaboration platform where distributed teams can edit the same document together in real time without conflicts, while meeting authorization, audit, and integration requirements. The goal was to offer an alternative that keeps organizational data under the company’s control without dependence on an external SaaS tool.
What problem does it solve?
Teams often edit documents in separate tools. Concurrent editing conflicts, unauthorized access, and untraceable changes erode trust and productivity in enterprise environments. For teams handling sensitive legal and HR documents, not being able to track who changed what and when creates compliance risk.
Who uses it?
Product and engineering teams, corporate teams managing HR and operations documentation, and multi-branch organizations.
Our solution
We built an end-to-end platform with a Yjs-based CRDT engine for cross-tab real-time sync, a Tiptap rich-text editor, comments and notifications, version history and comparison, role-based access control (RBAC), SSO/LDAP simulation, and API/webhook infrastructure. Conflict resolution was designed to work entirely on the client without depending on the server.
