We build an end-to-end courier and delivery platform with PostGIS-powered live tracking, smart route optimization, and state-machine order workflows. The integrated system includes a customer app, courier app, and operations dashboard.

Location and Routing Infrastructure

Real-Time Tracking: A live map that updates courier locations every few seconds over WebSockets, with PostGIS route calculation and geospatial queries.

Route Optimization: Dynamically optimize multi-stop routes based on traffic using Google Maps Routes API or OSRM.

Geofencing: Use PostGIS-based geofencing to notify customers when a courier is nearby and enforce operating-area boundaries.

Order Management

State Machine: Enforce valid order status transitions—pending, accepted, picked up, en route, and delivered—with a timestamped log of every change.

Assignment Engine: Assign couriers based on proximity, workload, or experience, with a dispatcher panel for manual intervention.

Proof of Delivery (POD): Verify delivery with customer signatures, photos, and QR/barcodes.

Customer and Courier Apps

Build iOS and Android customer apps with React Native for order tracking and ratings, and courier apps for location sharing and route navigation. Provide a web-based dispatcher dashboard and reporting.
